Institutional Email address.
3
Institutional Affiliation: Select your Department and specify your Role (e.g., Faculty,

Administrator approval.
Pro Tip: After your account is approved, your first login will trigger a Guided

II. Uploading Research (The OCR Workflow)
CBIRS uses Intelligent OCR to make submissions fast and accurate.
1
Initiate Upload: Go to the sidebar and click on Upload Repository.
2
Select File: Click the upload zone and select your research PDF file.
3
Automatic Processing: Wait a few seconds while the OCR engine extracts the
Title, Abstract, and Keywords directly from your document.
4
Verification: Review the extracted fields in the right column. You can manually edit
any text that the OCR might have misinterpreted.
5
Submission: Complete the remaining fields (DOI, Type, etc.) and click
Submit. Your paper is now in the review queue.
